Capture Sediment Before It Reaches Storm Drains

Sandbaggy's Circular Drain Inlet Protection is a patented, above-ground filtration system designed to reduce sediment and debris from entering grated storm drain inlets in paved areas. The integrated filter captures sediment while allowing stormwater to flow, helping support erosion and sediment control efforts on construction sites.

The system features an outer berm that allows water to rise up to approximately 1.5 inches before reaching the filter, encouraging heavier particles to settle above ground for easier inspection and maintenance. Its durable, reusable design withstands construction traffic, installs without removing the drain grate, and provides reliable performance throughout the project.

⚠️ Please Note
  • Designed for circular grated storm drain inlets in paved areas.
  • Grate removal is not required for installation or maintenance.
  • Routine inspection and cleaning are recommended for optimal performance.
  • Verify drain dimensions before purchasing to ensure proper fit.

Features

  • Captures Sediment Above Ground – Helps prevent sediment and debris from entering storm drains while making inspection and cleanup easier.
  • No Grate Removal Required – Installs and maintains without lifting heavy drain grates, improving safety and reducing labor.
  • Built-In Settling Berm – Outer berm allows water to pond before filtration, helping heavier particles settle out before reaching the filter.
  • Handles High Flow Conditions – Integrated high-flow bypass helps maintain drainage performance during storm events.
  • Durable & Reusable Design – Built to withstand construction traffic and remain in service throughout the project.
  • Reduces Maintenance Costs – Above-ground filtration allows faster inspection, cleaning, and removal compared to traditional inlet protection methods.

FAQs

What type of drains is this designed for?
