Heavy Duty Soil Stabilization Fabric for Gravel Roads, Driveways & Soft Ground

Sandbaggy Soil Stabilization Fabric is a commercial-grade non woven geotextile designed to help improve weak ground conditions by separating soil from aggregate, supporting stone layers, and allowing water to drain through.

Use it under gravel driveways, access roads, farm roads, parking pads, equipment yards, pavers, and other aggregate surfaces where rutting, sinking, mud, or unstable soil can become a problem.

Made in the USA from heavy duty needle-punched polypropylene, this thick 8 oz fabric is built for demanding residential, commercial, and construction applications. It also meets recognized industry standards, including NTPEP compliant, meets AASHTO standards, and DOT compliant specifications.

Features

  • HELPS STABILIZE WEAK GROUND – Creates a separation layer between soil and gravel to help reduce rutting, sinking, and surface failure.
  • HEAVY DUTY 8 OZ FABRIC – Thick non woven construction built for demanding driveway, roadway, and aggregate support applications.
  • ALLOWS WATER TO PASS THROUGH – High permeability helps water drain through the fabric instead of becoming trapped below the surface.
  • MADE IN THE USA – Manufactured domestically with quality materials for dependable performance.
  • LONG SERVICE LIFE – Designed to last 50+ years when buried and protected from UV exposure.
  • MEETS INDUSTRY STANDARDS – NTPEP compliant, meets AASHTO standards, and meets DOT specifications.
  • FLEXIBLE & EASY TO INSTALL – Needle-punched non woven fabric conforms well to uneven subgrades and jobsite conditions.

  • Road Base Stabilization
  • Under Pavers
  • Under Geocell Systems
  • Soft Soil Construction Areas

Why Use Non Woven Fabric for Soil Stabilization?

Many ground failures happen because stone mixes into soft soil and water becomes trapped below the surface. Sandbaggy 8 oz non woven fabric helps address both issues by creating a separator layer while still allowing water to pass through.

This can help maintain aggregate thickness, improve load distribution, and extend the life of gravel and stone surfaces.

Yes. It is commonly used beneath gravel driveways, access roads, and parking areas.

How long does it last?

When buried and protected from UV exposure, the fabric is designed for long-term service life and can last 50+ years under suitable conditions.

  • Sandbags are being laid length-wise end to end
  • The sandbag wall is 2-3 sandbags wide
  • Sandbag wall is rectangular
