Faster Concrete Forming Without Form Removal

Save time and reduce labor with Sandbaggy Metal Rib Stay Form Sheets. These galvanized steel forming sheets stay permanently embedded in the concrete, eliminating the need to strip traditional formwork after the pour.

Ideal for footings, grade beams, pile caps, bulkheads, and blindside walls, the ribbed mesh design provides excellent concrete bonding while allowing visual inspection during placement. Easy to cut, shape, and install for a wide range of concrete forming applications.

⚠️ Please Note
  • Designed as a permanent, leave-in-place forming system—only temporary bracing and supports are removed after the concrete has cured.
  • Concrete pours are recommended in 3–4 ft lifts for best performance. Follow local engineering and building requirements for your project.

FAQs

What is Metal Rib Stay Form used for?

Metal Rib Stay Form is a permanent concrete forming sheet commonly used for footings, grade beams, pile caps, bulkheads, blindside walls, and other below-grade concrete structures where conventional forms are difficult to remove.

Does the form stay inside the concrete?

Yes. This is a leave-in-place forming system. The galvanized steel sheet remains embedded within the concrete after the pour, while only the temporary bracing is removed.

Can I cut the sheets on the jobsite?

Yes. The sheets can be trimmed using tin snips, a grinder, cutoff saw, or abrasive blade, making it easy to fit around rebar, conduit, corners, and custom layouts.

How should the sheets be installed?

Adjacent sheets should overlap according to the installation guidelines, be secured with tie wire to the bracing, and be adequately supported before concrete placement. For best results, concrete is typically placed in lifts of approximately 3–4 feet.
