Secure Your Snap Ties & Support Your Wales

Introducing the revolutionary Snap Tie Bracket, a key component of the efficient Single Waler System. Designed to streamline your concrete formwork process, this innovative bracket utilizes 4-3/4" L&W snap ties and a sliding wedge to accommodate for lumber variations. When combined with hex head snap ties, they break off cleanly inside the concrete, significantly reducing stripping time and labor.

Crafted from durable galvanized steel and featuring a cadmium-plated wedge, the Snap Bracket is built to withstand the elements. Its versatile design allows for horizontal, vertical, or inverted installation with a 2x4 kicker plate, and the sliding wedge is able to accommodate both 3/4" and 5/8" plywood. With easy installation and strategically placed nail holes in the wedge and body for added security, the Snap Bracket is the ultimate solution for efficient and reliable concrete formwork.

Please Note* - For orders of more than 1000 qty, lead time 60 days.

FAQ

What is a snap tie in construction?

Snap ties are an essential component in formwork for concrete, connecting two distinct surfaces. Made of either plastic or steel, these ties feature a cone-shaped head at one end and a threaded rod on the other. The Jahn A bracket then holds the snap tie in place and also supports the wale or stud.

How do snap ties work?

Snap ties are installed by threading them through form holes, then secured by tightening with a snap tie wedge. This spreads the plastic cones out, locking the forms in place. Once concrete cures, the wedges are removed and cones broken off, freeing the ties from the concrete.
