FAQ
How does the breakaway feature work?
The breakaway design allows the inside sign post to detach upon impact, leaving the base securely in the ground. This makes post replacement quick and easy—simply slide a new post into the existing base and secure it with a bolt.
Can this base be reused after an impact?
Yes! The breakaway base is designed to be reused. After the inside post breaks away, the base remains intact, allowing you to replace the post without needing to reinstall the base.
What is the installation process?
The base can be installed in either soil or concrete. For soil, use a post driver to secure it in the ground. For concrete, use a pneumatic hammer or concrete drill to break through the surface before inserting the base.
