    FAQ

How long should concrete cure before using wedge anchors?

To ensure a secure and reliable installation, it is generally recommended to allow concrete to cure for a minimum of 24 to 48 hours before using wedge anchors. This curing period allows the concrete to gain sufficient strength and stability, providing a solid base for the anchors. However, it's important to consider that curing time may vary depending on factors such as concrete type, thickness, and environmental conditions. For larger or thicker concrete sections, or in adverse conditions, a longer curing duration might be necessary. It is best to consult the concrete supplier or follow the specifications provided by the engineer or project guidelines to determine the specific curing time required before installing wedge anchors.

How to install concrete wedge anchors

As long as the hole is pre-drilled into the formwork panels, these concrete wedge anchors need no extra tools. Just insert them by hand or if you need a little extra power use a rubber mallet.

How to remove concrete wedge anchors?

Once the appropriate time has passed for curing, remove these by hand or use a tool that can easily pull these out. If you used our Rubber Mallet, you’ll notice it has a hooked end. This is a perfect tool to use for removal of these concrete wedge anchors.
