How to Install

  1. Prepare the Area: Begin by clearing the area of any existing vegetation.
  2. Install Edging: Install edging material to contain the gravel.
  3. Lay Landscape Fabric: Lay down landscape fabric to act as a weed barrier.
  4. Add Base Layer: Add a 2-inch layer of coarsely textured base rock (also called crushed rock) to help with drainage and stability.
  5. Spread Pea Gravel: Spread the pea gravel evenly, aiming for a depth of 2-3 inches.
  6. Compact the Gravel: Use a hand tamper or lawn roller to compact the gravel.
