Gravel bags vs. standard sandbags

Gravel bags and standard sandbags are different names for the same product: poly sandbags. They are just filled with different materials.
Gravel bags
- Filled using gravel
- Protect against erosion
- Gravel traps soil but allows water to flow through, protecting against mudslides
Standard sandbags
- Filled using sand
- Used for flood control
- Sand stops water, protecting against flooding
