The Ultimate Multi-Purpose Stake for Every Project

When bracing heavy concrete forms, standard stakes just don't cut it. Our 1x3x24 inch wooden stakes are engineered for maximum strength, featuring an extra-wide 3-inch profile crafted from solid, American-grown Douglas Fir to prevent costly form blowouts.

Each stake is precision-cut with a sharp, angled point to drive securely into compacted job site soil. Built for the toughest professional applications, these USA-made stakes are the definitive choice for any construction project where strength is non-negotiable.

  • Ideal for Standard Concrete Forms: The 24-inch length is the professional standard for bracing most concrete flatwork, including patios, sidewalks, and driveways.

Faq

What makes these stakes better for concrete forms than standard stakes?

Their extra width is the key advantage. At 3 inches wide, they provide significantly more surface area and rigidity than standard 2-inch stakes. This superior strength is critical for resisting the immense pressure of wet concrete and preventing costly form blowouts.

What is the best wood for construction stakes?

A strong, durable wood like Douglas Fir is the best choice for construction. It resists splitting when driven into compacted ground and has the necessary strength for high-stress jobs, unlike softer pine stakes which are prone to breaking.

Is the 24-inch length enough for a sidewalk or patio form?

Yes, the 24-inch length is ideal for most standard flatwork. It allows you to drive the stake about 12-16 inches into the ground for a very secure anchor, while leaving enough height to properly brace and level your form boards.
