These sandbags have a 90 lbs weight capacity! That's 80% more than our 14" x 26" standard sandbags. This means that one of our tube sand bags can take the place of 2.5 standard sandbags, with each bag providing 4.5 inches of protection against flood water.

You can also use these long tube sandbags for truck beds. They'll provide extra weight to your truck, giving you more traction on snowy streets or when going up hills.

If you need sandbags for your truck for added traction during winter, you will need 240-300 lbs. for a 1/2 ton pickup, which is at least 3 full 12"" x 38"" tube sandbags at full weight capacity (90 lbs. each). For a 3/4 to a 1 ton pickup, you will need 300-400 lbs, which comes out to at least 4 full 12"" x 38"" tube sandbags at full weight capacity (90 lbs. each).

For optimal traction, make sure the weight is centered over the rear axle, or as close as possible to the rear axle.
